We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Planner to join our team at a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in the Bristol construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the South West skyline.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  2. Liaise with surveyors, engineers, and architects to drive project progress
  3. Produce regular progress reports and forecasts for stakeholders
  4. Break down large projects into manageable phases, utilizing project management tools
  5. Collaborate with estimators to determine resource requirements
  6. Plan contingency programs for unexpected timeframes
  7. Meet with contractors and suppliers to ensure project success
  8. Demonstrate expertise in construction management
  9. Lead junior planners in managing multiple projects
  10. Work between offices and construction sites
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in project management office (PMO) operations, systems implementation, and project management methodologies within the construction industry
  2. Advanced proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  4. Experience in the construction industry, particularly within the commercial new build sector

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
