Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Cleaner at our Totnes Childrens Centre location. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in this busy facility.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The Cleaner will be responsible for carrying out routine and ad-hoc cleaning tasks as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor. This may include operating cleaning equipment, disposing of waste, and ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and doors
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with Company policies
  • Maintain high standards of customer service when interacting with clients
What We Offer

In addition to a competitive salary of £25,875.20 per year (pro rata), we offer a range of benefits, including full training and support for enthusiastic individuals who are new to the commercial cleaning industry. If you have previous experience working in a similar role, this would be an advantage, but not essential.
