Senior Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at a private hospital in Kent. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing high standards of care for patients undergoing surgery.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a range of surgical specialties. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement high standards of perioperative care, following hospital guidelines and protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operating theatre procedures.
- Provide expert scrub nursing skills in a range of surgical specialties.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Post-registration education in a relevant specialty, or degree in healthcare, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
- Expert scrub nurse with post-qualification scrub experience in a range of surgical specialties.
- Excellent organisational planning and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Outlook and web-based reporting systems).
