Job Role Overview

Grosvenor Casinos Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to manage the financial operations of the club, ensuring accurate accounting of all transactions while adhering to gambling regulations and company policies.

This position involves working closely with the cash desk team to maintain thorough records and accounts of all operations, as well as supporting with cash or asset counts in the club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and welcome customers in the Cash Desk
  • Collaborate and work as part of the cash desk and wider casino team
  • Comply with all company procedures as required by the cash desk manager
  • Comply with the Gambling Act, its regulations and Gambling Commission license conditions and codes of practice
  • Report to the head cashier
Requirements
  • Holds a PFL license, or can apply for one from the Gambling Commission once starting in the role
  • Numeracy skills, ability to account for and manage large sums of cash
  • Experience in a cashier or accounts role ideal, but not essential
  • Understanding or willingness to learn legislation related to the cash desk function, sufficient to pass a competency test
  • Must be able to work shifts at any time of the day, including weekends and bank holidays
