About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join TJX Europe as a Senior Finance Business Partner, playing a key role in driving profitable growth through ownership of the Distribution P&L and provision of robust, comprehensive and insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business partner to Region 2 PCs and other senior Distribution and Finance stakeholders, providing regular touchpoints and influential interactions to support the delivery of business goals.
  • Own the regular planning and tracking of key KPIs for Region 2 PCs, using them to assist Distribution and Finance management in making informed business decisions.
  • Provide meaningful and insightful analysis on financial performance through regular prospective and retrospective reviews.
  • Perform month end and forecasting duties for Region 2 PCs, articulating and presenting key drivers for performance vs. plan to senior stakeholders in Distribution and Finance.
  • Proactively manage risks and opportunities to the P&L through regular contact with business partners.
  • Work with the Region 2 PCs on the budget and long-range financial plan processes, providing outputs for Region 2 PCs and identifying opportunities to remain efficient as we grow.
  • Be the gatekeeper of the Region 2 capital budgets, offering support and challenge to the distribution centres, providing ROI analysis for capital requests from Region 2 PCs to ensure financially viable investments are made.
  • Assist the Manager and Manager of, within the team, to support regional and network growth strategies, such as new PC investments.
  • Provide cohesive analytical support on ad hoc analyses that drive strategic and operational decisions.
  • Own and drive initiatives for internal efficiencies, championing process improvement and automation within the team.
  • Travel to Region 2 on a regular basis will be required for the role.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Ability to learn and develop knowledge of operational levels to be an effective and reliable business partner.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and must have well-developed influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to develop relationships across the business and at different levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills.
  • Confident use of Excel.
  • A proven track record of delivering results to deadlines.
  • High level of initiative, curiosity, and drive.
  • A flexible attitude and forward thinking.
