SEN Teacher Assistant

Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join their team in Manchester. With a strong reputation for providing exceptional teaching opportunities, they are committed to supporting the growth and development of their students.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and individualized lessons to students with complex additional needs. You will work collaboratively with the school's SENCO and other teachers to develop learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching and Learning
Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN, ensuring they access the curriculum and make progress.
Collaborate with the SENCO and other teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
Classroom Management
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Implement teaching strategies and accommodations to support students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring
Use a range of assessment tools to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.
Qualifications and Requirements
A minimum of QTS, relevant teaching experience within a secondary school setting, and a deep understanding of SEN needs, learning styles, and strategies.
Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management skills, and a nurturing approach.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, with opportunities for progression and professional development.
