Job Title: Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor (Level 5)

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with learners in the Health and Social Care sector, delivering training and assessment to support their development and career progression. As a Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, assessing learner progress, and providing feedback and guidance to support their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training and assessment to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker)
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs
  • Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork, and general administration
Requirements:
  • Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET
  • Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care at Level 5
  • Hold own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an LMC or equivalent
  • Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care as Registered/Care Manager
  • Confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English
  • Must have a good level of ICT skills
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
  • Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working
