The Role:

  • Leading the design and implementation of test systems across combined hardware and software-based products
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to drive continuous quality improvement by combining manual and automated testing through Continuous Integration with hardware based automated tests across multiple projects

Responsibilities:

  1. Test Rigs: Assembling and running test rigs to enable automatic testing of hardware, software and firmware
  2. Design and implement robust test programs across all development projects, from specification to deployment
  3. Defect Tracking: Identifying and reporting defects or bugs found during testing using bug tracking tools
  4. Collaborate across teams to ensure testing is aligned with project specifications and requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience of testing combined hardware and software-based platforms in an Embedded Testing role
  • Expertise of automated combined hardware and software testing practices
  • Strong experience working in both Windows and Linux environments, confident in using the command line

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary based on experience plus a company performance bonus (£55,000 - £65,000 per year)
  • 25 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and an additional day after every 3 years of service (up to 30 days)
