Facilities Management Lead

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
About the Role
This is a key position in our facilities management team, responsible for maintaining the building's fabric to a high standard. You will work closely with the contract manager, attend meetings at another local site, and support with facilities-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the contract manager to maintain the building's fabric to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.
- Conduct weekly site walks to note and assign jobs to internal engineering teams or request quotes from contractors.
- Review compliance trackers and ensure all PPMs are up to date.
- Oversee health and safety compliance onsite, including third-party services providers and maintenance records.
- Liaise with subcontractors and book their works.
- Maintain required management information and records related to company, health and safety, and other matters.
- Oversee third-party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided.
- Manage risk and deal with insurance issues on site.
- Manage major work programmes on site and act as liaison point for all parties involved.
- Produce management reports in accordance with business needs.
- Monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors.
- Complete CBRE permit training to provide permits to contractors.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to build on current customer relationships.
- Teamwork and initiative, with excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Health and safety knowledge and qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH).
- Facilities management experience.
- Management of subcontractors and booking their works.
- Working with H&S/Technical lead to ensure compliance documents are loaded into CBRE E-logs system.
The successful candidate will be based at Wymbush, but will also attend meetings at another local site. They must have good communication skills, ability to work within a team, and excellent organisational and planning skills. The role requires experience in facilities management and health and safety, as well as intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products.
