About the Role

Chris Turner Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Associate/Director to join their Ecology team as a lead. This role will involve nurturing consultants and graduates, supporting the team to win work, and developing strong relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience working as an ecologist and be able to manage complex projects from inception to completion. They will also have a strong understanding of legislative and planning policy frameworks, as well as experience in EIA/HRA/protected species licensing.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive technical lead who can share knowledge with and mentor the wider ecology team. They will also have strong survey skills, including extended Phase 1, protected species surveys, and/or botanical surveys, and hold a full UK driving licence.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also offers a range of benefits, including a permanent 4-day work week, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
