Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and campus visitors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control access to college premises, including CCTV and other protective systems.
  • Provide a courteous and efficient front-of-house service during college hours, including escort services for visitors and staff.
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure buildings, valuables, and people are safe and secure.
  • Compile accurate incident reports and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff.
  • Supervise the door and control the key press, issuing keys as necessary.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures, including security techniques and site emergency procedures.
  • Experience in working in a similar role, with a Door Supervisor License - SIA door supervisor.
  • Knowledge of security techniques and site emergency procedures.
