Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

Location: Fully Remote

Contract Duration: 6 months renewable contract


Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at Linnk Group. This is a 6-month, full-time, fully remote contract role where you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Lead security efforts during cloud migration projects, focusing on data and application protection.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct security assessments and ensure alignment with frameworks like NIST, CIS, and Zero Trust.
  • Implement security controls for IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection.
  • Stay current with cloud security trends and proactively mitigate risks.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security services (IAM, encryption, firewalls, monitoring).
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
  • Experience with security tools like CloudTrail, GuardDuty, or Azure Security Center.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, Zero Trust Architecture).
  • Automation experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
