Role Overview:
TSR Legal is seeking a skilled Conveyancing Financial Specialist to manage the financial operations of the firm. As a Legal Cashier and Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules and providing full-service cashier duties across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial transactions, including client and office account payments, CHAPS, BACS, and cheque payments.
Reconcile bank accounts and handle petty cash.
Monitor and manage client account balances and ensure timely transfer of funds.
Process conveyancing completions, including calculating and arranging payments of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and Land Registry fees.
Prepare and manage VAT returns and ensure timely submission.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures.
Liaise with solicitors, clients, and external bodies to resolve financial queries.
Maintain accurate financial records and produce regular financial reports.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Legal Cashier, preferably within a conveyancing-focused role.
Strong understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules and other relevant regulations.
Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
