Revenue Collection Specialist

Exciting Opportunity in East Renfrewshire Council

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Revenues Team in a permanent role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing customer data accurately and efficiently, and communicating with customers using their preferred method of contact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer data accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with customers using their preferred method of contact
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality service to residents of East Renfrewshire
• Meet targets and deadlines for Council Tax billing and collection, and invoicing and collection of Housing Benefit Overpayments

Requirements:

• Experience of dealing with customers and delivering high standards of customer care
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Interest in Local Government Finance and local taxation
