Job Title: Junior Press Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Press Officer to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential for the role to become permanent.

About the Role:

The Junior Press Officer will be responsible for coordinating various activities, such as organizing the filming of documentaries and other media-related events. They will also administer and manage media enquiries and the press inbox efficiently, assist with the creation and distribution of press materials and communications, and support the press team with daily tasks and contribute to the development of press strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating media-related events and activities
  • Managing media enquiries and the press inbox
  • Creating and distributing press materials and communications
  • Supporting the press team with daily tasks
  • Maintaining and updating media contact lists and databases
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Proactive approach to tasks and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong desire to work in the arts or cultural sector
  • Some experience in media or press is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
