About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Conservation Technician to support our ecological restoration efforts. As a Biological Science Technician, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing conservation practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology, biology, or a related field, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role offers a competitive salary of $58,163 - $74,039 per year, depending on location and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field surveys to collect data on plant species and ecosystems.
- Participate in routine testing of collected samples to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Develop and implement conservation plans to protect rare and endangered plant species.
- Analyze data using databases and standard statistical methods to prepare reports.
- Work with teams to develop and implement ecological restoration projects.
