Assembly Technician Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the green energy industry, is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join their Engineering team in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to develop a career in a dynamic and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Machining and assembling mechanical parts in line with engineering drawings.
  2. Working with solid pipework, including stainless and twin ferruled systems.
  3. Carrying out work in a clean environment to the highest accuracy and quality standards.
  4. Using mechanical principles to contribute to continuous improvement.
  5. Documenting work, reporting findings, and highlighting improvements to the design team.
  6. Collaborating with other team members to drive product and procedure development.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified in an engineering discipline with problem-solving capabilities.
  2. Experience working in an engineering assembly environment, although university leavers will be considered.
  3. Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs.
  4. Knowledge of tubing systems, fittings, pipework, and instrumentation.
  5. Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a clean environment.
