We are seeking a Compliance Risk Specialist to join our team at William Hill. As a Compliance Risk Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company complies with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

You will have responsibility for identifying and mitigating risks, and for ensuring that the company's operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing assurance around key risk areas and customer journeys.
  • Identify critical risk areas at the earliest opportunity to ensure we protect our customers and our business.
  • Evidence that all operational activities have been handled in accordance with process with no potential risk/concerns missed.
  • Validate fair decision-making and risk mitigation, investigate decisions disproportionate to information gathered during operational transaction activities.
  • Meticulously record assurance activities with internal reporting and audits, demonstrating that we are meeting our regulatory obligations.
  • Identify training needs and areas of focus for learning and development, and participate in calibration sessions with Quality Assurance/Training teams.
  • Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions where core processes/compliance breaches have occurred and ensure feedback is given in a closed loop process.
