Are you looking for a new challenge in your social work career? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced social workers to join our Adult Social Care team at Richmond and Wandsworth Councils. With a focus on providing holistic, personalized services to residents over 18, we offer a dynamic and supportive environment for professionals to grow and develop their skills.

We are offering a competitive salary of ££51,969 per annum, plus a £3,000 retention bonus every two years of service. In addition, we provide payment of Social Work England registration fee, performance-related salary progression scheme, and 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments of individual and carer needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support, and prevent harm. You will also work in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximizing independence, wellbeing, and choice.

To be successful in this role, you must have post-qualification experience and a good knowledge of relevant legislation and local authority responsibilities in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. We also offer regular reflective supervision, peer group supervision, and bespoke Personal Development Plans to support your growth and development.
