Workshop Engineer required for a leading provider of hire equipment. The ideal candidate will have background experience of working with heavy plant, specifically telehandlers and roto telehandlers. Key responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy plant equipment. The successful candidate will also diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan and reliability. Additionally, they will maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities and adhere to workshop health and safety regulations. The role requires relevant NVQ Level 2/3 qualifications relating to plant maintenance, experience in a similar role working on plant, and mechanical and hydraulic knowledge. The company offers a competitive remuneration package, including 23 days holiday plus bank holiday and pension.
