Culinary Expert

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a leading food service company, we provide exceptional food experiences for Defence and other high-profile clients.

About the Role:

• Prepare and serve high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Oversee and implement menu changes to meet customer preferences
• Identify opportunities to improve our food services and implement changes
• Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image
• Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

• Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• City & Guilds 2 or NVQ equivalent in culinary arts
• Experience supervising a team and managing kitchen operations
• Food Hygiene certificate
• Flexible approach to working and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
