Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at a Secondary academy site in the Peterborough area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day general maintenance and site work, working closely with the maintenance caretaker to ensure the environment of all buildings is safe, well-maintained, and meets Health and Safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to manage multiple work requests at any one time and possess IT literacy to use various systems to input data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the maintenance caretaker with maintenance and site work
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Ensuring the security of the building
  • Managing workloads and prioritizing tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
