Financial Accountant - UK IFRS Accounting and Consolidation

Aliaxis, a leading provider of fluid management solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Financial Accountant to join its UK team. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting and compliance with UK IFRS accounting and consolidation requirements.

About the Role

Reporting to the UK Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the UK treasury function and work closely with EMEA colleagues to ensure the UK remains compliant with Aliaxis processes. You will also advise the UK VP, Leadership team, and wider finance function on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the UK IFRS accounting and consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK regulations
  • Manage the UK treasury function, ensuring effective cash flow management and liquidity
  • Provide tax compliance and tax reporting services, including Corporation Tax computations
  • Advise the UK VP, Leadership team, and wider finance function on financial matters
  • Collaborate with EMEA colleagues to ensure consistency and compliance with Aliaxis processes
Requirements
  • Highly experienced Financial Accountant with a strong background in UK IFRS accounting and consolidation
  • Recent experience of completing Corporation Tax computations
  • Proven experience in taxation, treasury management, and pension accounting
  • ACA Certified Chartered Accountant
  • Experience operating as Company Secretary would be highly desirable
