Key Responsibilities

  • As a Cardiology Medical Doctor Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with cardiac conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • You will also be expected to demonstrate paediatric experience, including general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care, and to have completed audit or Quality Improvement projects.
  • Additionally, you will be required to have a flexible approach and to be willing to participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Equivalent Postgraduate qualification in paediatrics
  • UK Paediatric and neonatal experience
  • Completed audit or Quality Improvement projects
  • Evidence of interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
  • PG qualification in medical education
  • Flexible approach

Training and Development

  • As required by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, you will be expected to demonstrate paediatric experience and training, including level 3 NNU
  • Level 2 Safeguarding Children Training
  • UK Paediatric and neonatal experience
  • Level 3 Safeguarding Children Training
