Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Henderson Scott. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting manufacturing processes and industrial validation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating design requirements into user instructions, contributing to developing the project's manufacturing architecture, and providing daily operational support to the manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Instruction Development: Translate design requirements into clear, concise user instructions to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Manufacturing Architecture Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective manufacturing architectures that meet safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness standards.
  • Operational Support: Provide daily operational support to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and addressing any process-related issues promptly.

Estimated salary: £43,000 per annum + bonus.

Requirements
  • BEng in a relevant Engineering field or NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship alongside a HNC (or equivalent).
  • Able to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.
  • Experience with process FMEAs and manufacturing process validation.
  • Experience of supporting non-conformance processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
