About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared to a high standard and that customer expectations are met.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the team is aware of their responsibilities in this area.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a food and beverage leadership role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, with the ability to maintain high standards in this area.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
