English Graduate Cover Supervision Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Graduate to work as a Cover Supervisor in Secondary schools within Medway and the surrounding areas.
About the Role:
This role involves working with students of various ages and abilities, supporting them in achieving their academic potential. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering assigned work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students continue to progress in their learning.
You will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff, developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assigned work set by the regular class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Ensure students continue to progress in their learning
Requirements:
- A degree-level qualification in an English related subject
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrable patience and reasoning skills
- A positive, engaging, and proactive approach
- The ability to hold or obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Salary and Benefits:
Salary ranges from £90 to £100 per day, providing a competitive income for this role. Additionally, you will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, enabling you to grow and develop your skills and career.
