Job Title: General Cover Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a General Cover Supervisor to join our team at Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd. As a General Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a productive learning environment.
  • Manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.
  • Support students in their learning and encourage their participation.
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and adapt them as necessary.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and classroom dynamics.

Requirements:

  • Previous teaching or relevant classroom experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different schools and students.
