SEN Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring SEN teaching assistant to join our team in Crawley. As a key member of the reception class, you will work closely with children who require additional support to develop their skills and independence through play-based learning.

About the Role

This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring individual to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs. Your role will involve working 1:1 with students, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the daily care and development of children in the reception class
  • Working 1:1 with children who require additional support
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop effective learning strategies
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
Requirements
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences

The estimated salary range has been calculated based on national averages for SEN teaching assistants in the Crawley area. This includes a 12.07% statutory holiday pay contribution.
