We are seeking a skilled Demand Analyst to join our team, responsible for integrating demand planning across various functions, including S&OP Supply Manager, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Commercial, and Project/Program Management.

  • Main responsibility is to lead and execute the demand planning process for Product Configuration Systems (PCS), aligning it with the company's overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and prepare forecasts from various sources, such as pre-sales activities, bids, quotes, projects, agreements, build rates, and more.
  • Deliver an unconstrained market-driven plan to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in developing and delivering a comprehensive financial forecast.
  • Analyse and maintain forecasts, identifying areas of improvement.
  • Develop and track relevant performance metrics for forecast accuracy.
  • Identify and address potential issues impacting forecast accuracy.
  • Manage discrepancies between customer demand and platform capacity.
  • Support the introduction of new products into the market.
  • Communicate product inventory strategies to the supply planning team.
  • Oversee demand planning and management processes for both new and existing products.
  • Design and implement product demand plans aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation activities, including input into safety stock policies.
  • Develop and manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with the S&OP Supply Manager.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business capabilities.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent analytical and numerical skills, commercial acumen, and experience with the IFS ERP system. A background in the aerospace or defence sectors is highly valued.
