Job Title: Senior Quantitative Analyst - NBA Modeling

Description:

We are recruiting for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team at BettingJobs. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of models and supervise ad hoc analysis using various data sources to solve tasks relevant to the business.

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to support the development of existing and/or new sports forecasting products
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production workflows
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and develop data pipelines that support model development

Requirements:

  • PhD or MSc in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science) with 3+ years' experience in sports analytics or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying predictive models in a production environment
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Julia
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Benefits:

Salary range: £90,000 - £140,000 per annum based on experience + benefits package including pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
