Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at an industry leading packaging manufacturer in Beccles, Suffolk. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine maintenance tasks on plastics moulding machinery, including tool changes and setting.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults, set up issues, and production quality issues.
- Raise maintenance work orders and ensure that all production checks and documentation are completed accurately.
- Perform post-production quality checks and ensure that all equipment is running correctly and safely.
- Ensure that all work areas are kept safe, clean, and tidy during and at the end of the shift.
- Clear and proven competence in a technical role in an engineering environment.
- Technical qualification: Minimum Level 2 in Engineering/Vehicle Maintenance or similar/equivalent.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving and fault finding.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond positively to changing work demands.
- Previous role in a manufacturing/packaging environment.
- Blow moulding or injection moulding technical experience, setting machines and tooling.
