About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disrepair Surveyor to join our team at Goodman Masson. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and habitability of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify and resolve disrepair issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports, estimates, and technical specifications for repairs, utilizing your expertise in building maintenance and statutory disrepair issues.
  • Lead on damp and mould cases, providing expert guidance and support to tenants, legal representatives, and contractors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage caseloads and ensure repairs are completed efficiently, maintaining accurate records of work progress.
  • Provide technical support and advice on a range of housing and health issues, ensuring adherence to customer care policies and quality assurance principles.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance and statutory disrepair issues, with experience in complex building defects, contract management, and surveying.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work collaboratively with colleagues, external partners, and legal teams.
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC, degree, or membership in a recognized professional body.
