Job Introduction

We're seeking an Asset Inspector to join our team at our Lincoln depot. As an Asset Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting our distribution network assets up to and including 132kV, as well as other assets with statutory inspection regimes.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will need to be able to interrogate our computer systems to identify inspection tasks, drive to site to undertake inspections, and record results. They'll also be responsible for reporting any immediate risks or dangerous issues to their manager.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a flexible and responsible individual who can work quickly and decisively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to hold English and Maths GCSEs (1-9/G-A*) or equivalent qualifications. You'll also need to be mobile throughout the area and have a full driving licence.

Working Environment

The working environment requires quick, decisive, and responsible actions to meet the demands of the role. You'll be working alone and being away from the depot, so you'll need to be self-motivated and able to work independently.
