Electrical Systems Leadership Position
We are seeking a seasoned HV/LV Engineer to take on a leadership role within our Samuel Frank team. Based in Deeside / Chester, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HV/LV infrastructure on site.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
- To lead a small team of experienced HV Technicians and Electricians in achieving business objectives
- To manage specialist HV support contracts & cable jointing contractors effectively
- To authorise and schedule switches (33kV minimum)
- To foster strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- To participate in the site electrical safety committee
- To develop and deliver 'Safety Near Misses' training annually
- To stay up-to-date with current legislation, including 'Electricity at Work' regulations
- To implement and maintain Health & Safety regulations
- To hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
- To conduct and specify risk assessments
This role includes:
- A competitive salary range of £60-64k
- Quarterly bonus scheme (up to 14% of salary)
- 10% Employer Pension Contribution
