About the Role

This part-time, flexible position offers a perfect balance between work and personal life. As Finance and Operations Lead, you'll oversee financial reporting, operations, and compliance, ensuring our organisation runs smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing payments, invoicing, bookkeeping, and budget control
  • Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Liaising with external accountants during audits and ensuring accurate VAT and tax returns
  • Managing payroll and employee benefits
  • Ensuring compliance with legal obligations

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape our financial direction and contribute to business development opportunities.

We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting community-oriented initiatives. While experience in voluntary organisations is ideal, it's not essential.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a generous holiday allowance and pension contribution.
