Job Description

Job Title: Administration Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our Crisis Response Team at Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinical colleagues, ensuring the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using trust information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Crisis Response Team, including handling administrative tasks, managing records, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Build effective working relationships with clinical staff, patients, and carers, providing a high-quality and efficient service at all times.
  • Deal with queries raised by patients, relatives, GPs, or other healthcare professionals, providing clear and concise information and resolving complex issues.
  • Assist patients and families seeking further help or information, being aware of their needs and dealing with them in an appropriate manner.
  • Operate as a centralized administration service, providing a comprehensive administration service to support clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional relocation to provide cover for absence across all services/locations.
