About the Role


We are recruiting for a passionate and self-motivated Skills Coach to join our Supported Internship programme team in Worcester.


As a Skills Coach, your role is central to the delivery of our Supported Internship programme, supporting learners with SEN to complete all elements of the programme in line with requirements.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Providing tailored support to learners in the workplace
  • Supporting learners to develop employability skills and embed English and Maths learning in the workplace
  • Delivering support in various ways, including 1-1 job coaching
  • Accounting for learner progression in the workplace and achieving outcomes for the learner

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you will need:



  • Experience of supporting people with SEN
  • Experience of delivering against targets
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and the sector
  • A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Good ICT skills and effective communication skills
