About the Role

We are seeking a talented Operating Model Consultant to join our Defence and Security team, working on complex projects that require a wide range of skills, from strategic design and business analysis to organisational design and programme definition.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with experts to support clients in designing strategies, operating structures, and solutions to address their most pressing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects that require a wide range of skills, from strategic design; through business analysis and organisational design; to programme definition and design coherence.
  • Work in blended teams, partnering with specialists from across the breadth of PA.
  • Apply a design thinking mindset, tools, and approaches to help resolve complex and societally meaningful client challenges.
  • Develop ingenious solutions that address the needs of our clients.
  • Engage and present to clients, and therefore will be a strong communicator (verbal and written), being able to communicate recommendations and insights from operational to C-suite level.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience, including one or more of the following: helping organisations and leadership teams shape business strategy and design organisational and collaborative structures, analysing what an organisation's customers/users/citizens value, understanding how technology can help make an organisation more effective, analysing and solving problems using a data-driven and human-centred approach.
  • Experience delivering within or for defence and/or public sector organisations.
  • Understanding of the drivers for change facing national security and wider public sector leaders.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative way with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
