**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Control Professional Oversight Specialist to support the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in its mission to ensure competence within the building control profession.

The successful candidate will assist in investigations, enforcement, sanctions, and audits of Registered Building Inspectors, Local Authorities, and Private Sector Building Control functions across the country.

The salary for this role is £**£55,000-£70,000 per annum**, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support investigations and enforcement activities
  • Assist in the administration of sanctions processes
  • Work closely with the Audit and Investigation Manager to escalate risks and issues

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in regulation or compliance roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
