Residential Children's Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Children's Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment.

About the Role:

  • Support the daily lives of vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Participate in weekend activities, holidays, and trips to enhance the children's experiences.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to care plans and guidelines.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the children, addressing any challenging behaviors.

Requirements:

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license and a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
