**Job Overview:** We are looking for an exceptional Customer Service Operations Lead to join our team in Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our Customer Service team, ensuring that we provide a seamless and compliant service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Customer Service Assistants/Operational Administrators
  • Manage the department's operational workload and ensure smooth operations
  • Conduct market research and provide recommendations for products and pricing at Savings Product Committee meetings
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Champion to deliver training and implement procedural improvements
  • Handle customer complaints effectively and implement procedural improvements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a Bank or Building Society environment
  • Strong direct customer services background
  • Proven team leader experience, including work allocation, people management, and performance appraisal
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
