About the Role



We are seeking an Academic Specialist to join our team at SOAS University of London. As a key member of our faculty, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching on one module of the SOAS-Alphawood Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art.



As an Academic Specialist, your responsibilities will include developing and preparing materials and assessments for students, as well as providing exceptional pedagogical, practical, and pastoral support to ensure student success.



The successful candidate will have a strong background in Asian Art and Culture, with a proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to students. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and contribute to the development of innovative teaching practices.

About the Department



The SOAS-Alphawood Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art is a unique academic programme that offers students a comprehensive understanding of Asian Art and Culture. Our courses are designed to provide students with practical skills directly applicable to careers in the museum sector and art market, as well as a rigorous foundation for further postgraduate study.

About the Salary



The salary for this role is £43,120 - £50,400 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting. This salary will be pro rata'd for part-time hours.

This role is based in Bloomsbury, London, with easy access to public transportation.
