About the Role

Bytes Software Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join our Audit, Advisory & Strategy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services to our customers, assisting in the growth of our revenues and GP, and driving the development of new services to meet the changing needs of our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 10 days of Audit, Advisory or strategy consulting per month, focusing on ISF Security Healthcheck, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Data Privacy, vCISO, and general security consulting.
  • Assist the Head of Consulting Services to grow the revenues and GP of the Audit, Advisory & Strategy departments within Cyber Consulting.
  • Drive the Audit, Advisory & Strategy services within the customer base through the sales teams and engaging in pre-sales scoping calls.
  • Assist the Head of Consulting Services to drive the department forwards with new areas of opportunity and services for the changing needs of the Bytes customer base.
Individual Responsibilities
  • Deliver Audit, Advisory or strategy services to customers and provide leadership to the consultants and developing the team.
  • Interact with the sales team to ensure that new business is scoped appropriately for delivery.
  • Manage customer engagements and be responsible for the quality/timeliness of work delivered.
  • Deliver high-quality engagements to customers and deliver real value to them.
  • Be responsible for the Audit, Advisory & Strategy financial targets and understand how these impact the overall department budgets.
Requirements
  • BSc degree or 5 years relevant experience - Essential.
  • Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor qualification(s) or other relevant information security qualifications - Essential.
  • PCI QSA - Essential.
  • 6 to 8 years security/IT experience - Essential.
  • 5 years information security consulting experience (desirable) - Essential.
