We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the manufacturing transformation of our client's business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to deliver operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, lead time, cost, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to deliver operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, lead time, cost, and productivity.
- Sustain world-class health, safety, and environmental performance by working cross-functionally with the EHS lead.
- Maintain company KPIs, ensuring targets flow up and down from the shop floor to business leadership.
About the Role:
This is a pivotal role that requires a passionate operations professional to take on the responsibility of leading the manufacturing transformation. You will report directly to the plant director and have up to five direct reports. We are looking for a problem solver and a leader who is passionate about building an outstanding and diverse team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a highly complex assembly environment within manufacturing - medical, food & drink, chemical, electrical or engineering sectors.
- Experience in developing and implementing a strategy to deliver Operational Excellence in Delivery Lead Time, Cost, Productivity, Safety, Quality and People Management.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary, £70k - £75k, plus a £5,400 car allowance, and a 15% annual bonus. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship or hybrid working for this role.
