We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our client's team in a small, independently owned and family-run hotel. The hotel has an excellent reputation for its fine cuisine and is known for its commitment to using only the freshest ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality desserts and pastries
  • Contribute to the development of new dessert menus and recipes
  • Work effectively as part of a brigade of 10 chefs to deliver modern British menus
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of pastry-making techniques and ingredients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
