Job Details

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,425 - £46,143 per annum, inclusive of the London Weighting Allowance.

Job Description

As a Senior Education Specialist at The Hill College and Academy Trust, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programmes for adults with special needs. You will work closely with therapists, personnel from Social Services, Health, and Education to ensure effective planning and delivery of teaching/learning activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You will have or be working towards a Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent
  • You will have recent Outstanding/Good teaching experience with students with special needs
  • You must hold a Certificate of Education (CertEd) on appointment or currently be undertaking or willing to undertake the Certificate of Education (CertEd)
  • You must hold level 2 Maths and English qualifications or be willing to enrol on the internal functional skills course within your first year of employment and complete the course within 2 years
