HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunity

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 C+E Driver to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving HGV 1 C+E vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate and drive HGV 1 C+E vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
  • Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics team members
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV 1 C+E licence
  • Up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card
  • Min 12 months HGV Class 1 C+E experience
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
