At emagine Consulting, we're seeking a talented KDB Developer to join our team in Historical Data Management. As a key member of our Compliance Technology team, you'll collaborate closely with quants and electronic tech experts to implement fit-for-purpose solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop critical components of the Global FX MI and Analytics platform.
  • Work closely with the quants and electronic tech team to design and architect scalable analytic solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of tick data access feeds and API-based functionality.
  • Implement automation around metrics, builds, and testing.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of market data, trade data, and basic statistical concepts.
  • Ability to query, analyze, and combine vast amounts of data.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of q language structures and writing performant code.
  • Familiarity with kdb tick architecture.
  • Ability to adjust to a dynamic environment.
