Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Eastbourne, Seaford, and Hailsham.

About the Role

This is a temporary position with opportunities for permanent placement. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced educators to deliver tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique requirements of each student.
  • Support students with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desired but not essential).
